Brian Argyle is a Canadian freelance photographer based on Vancouver Island, in beautiful British Columbia.

Bearing in mind the constantly evolving public health situation, we feel confident to offer the following services, subject to current protocols:
— IN GENERAL: Most photo scenarios can be accommodated, including weddings and events, portraits & headshots, family photos, sports and commercial photography.
— Photography or Lightroom Tutoring: Personalized tutoring, at your convenience, is available at $100/hour for one or two people, minimum two hour sessions. Grab a friend and split the cost if you like.
— Art/Décor Consultations: If you’re looking to redecorate your business or home with some fresh new images on the walls, I’m happy to suggest works from my huge database of photos and fine art images, or with new custom ones taken just for you.
NOTE: Pricing shown on this website is for in-person service on location on Vancouver Island, within about 50 kms of Qualicum Beach — further with a modest travel surcharge.

For many years I’ve been an award-winning freelance magazine, event and commercial photographer and writer, available for any assignments except underwater shoots. I’m also a Photography and Lightroom instructor and am fully insured including Commercial General Liability insurance, with professional equipment and lighting.

Since switching from 35mm film cameras over twenty years ago, my obsession with digital photography has grown steadily—along with the capabilities of today's cameras. My high-resolution, Sony A7R Mark V can shoot silently, to not to be distracting during ceremonies or other times when silence is golden. You’ll receive professional, high-quality images that you’ll treasure forever!

IN YOUR eMAIL- Please mention the type of shoot (wedding, family portraits, headshots, personal branding, sports event, car or bike, etc), the proposed date and any relevant information, such as indoors/outdoors, time of day, number of people and so forth.
Minimum charge for any photo shoot is $400, including editing and processing of the digital RAW files. You’ll LOVE the images!
